This event will be held at historic Black River Fairgrounds 2778 E Sanilac Rd Carsonville Mi This beautiful place has an all grass arena and sits right on the Black River. 60 ft movie screen, Main stage camping (first come first serve) Riverside views & Camping, star studded sky at night, 3 stages, Big sound, Lights and Lasers.

  • Water Policy
    • Bring as much water as you like.
    • Water filling stations are available for free throughout the fairgrounds
    Alcohol Policy

    You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. A reasonable amount of unopened beer and wine (limited to one case of beer and one box of wine per person), will be permitted to be brought onto your camping area. If, however, in the security’s judgment anyone in the vehicle is intoxicated, or the alcohol is open, then the organizers reserve the right to confiscate the alcohol. Kegs, glass, liquor, or vending of alcohol is not permitted.

    Totem Guidelines
    • Totems must be no taller than 7 ft
    • Totem sticks should be made of something light (makes it easier to carry anyway!) – use PVC pipe or similar, no wood or metal, please!
    • Don’t put anything that could gash a head or poke out an eye on the end of that totem. If it looks like it could be used for a medieval joust, security will likely take it away!
    • No threatening messages on totems
    Medical Prescriptions

    Medical Prescriptions must be in their original bottle with label attached. Your ID must match the name on the label. All federal and state laws apply at Woodkey.

    Those bringing medicines to the event should declare them to security during any search and may have them stored in the medical center if required.

    Children

    All children ages 3 and up must have a wristband. Children age 2 and under are admitted free of charge.

    Should you get separated from your child, lost parents are asked to check in at the Concessions area or Information Booth. Children who are looking for their parent(s) will be brought there to be reunited.

    The freaks come out at night- Be good parents!

    Vending

    Woodkey will offer a wide assortment of food/drink, crafts, and other vendors throughout the Festival site. No unauthorized vending is allowed, you must complete an application and be accepted in order to vend. Unauthorized food and craft merchandise may be confiscated.

    Local Kennel Information

    Woodkey welcomes and supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. Read more about our Service Animal polices on the ADA Page.

    All other pets and animals must be housed in a nearby kennel if you cannot leave them at home.

    Promotions and Sponsorship

    No sponsorship, on-site marketing, sampling, vending, coupon/product distribution, or other promotional/advertising activity may be conducted at the Event (inclusive of parking lots), absent the Event producer’s prior written approval in each instance.

    *A note on headdresses and threatening messages: at Woodkey, all should feel safe, comfortable, and welcome.

    In this spirit, if you are someone who would normally bring Native American headdresses to the festival please leave them at home. Out of respect for this community, it is inappropriate to wear headdresses outside of traditional ceremony.

    Additionally, while we support diversity in signs, totems, and articles of clothing, words or images that are divisive or explicitly might upset others such as Political, Confederate, FJB, or BLM flags are not welcome.

    Woodkey reserves the right to confiscate items deemed to be in violation of these policies at its discretion.

    🔑 You may leave the festival and re-enter anytime with your wristband.

    🔑 You will be properly vetted again at the gate everytime you re-enter.

    🔑 You might have to call or text the number provided at the gate for re-entree after 8PM at night without prior notice.

    🔑 This is a newer venue and kinks have not yet been worked out. So please keep that in mind as we are absolutely trying our best to bring you an amazing experience.

    🔑 Take a cool key or even leave one on the key tree.

    🔑 Come early to hopefully even get parking, it's tight.

    🔑 If you can't find parking, we suggest Church.st a dirt road near by, or rent space from our neighbor's, if available

    “Sully” is the brainchild and nickname of Detroit-based producer, Christopher Sullivant. Weaving guttural sound design and intricate textures into wide melodic soundscapes, Sully has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with.

    After refining his production skills from the highly acclaimed Icon Collective, Sully first stepped into the electronic music scene in March of 2019. With a series of prolific self-releases such as “Frequency Shift” and “Quake” under his belt, Sully made his WAKAAN debut in late 2019, where he continues to call home for his intoxicating sound.

    Dan's widely renowned Los Angeles based label InStereo Recordings, has further etched his name into dance music's core for the past 15 years. With DJ Sneak, Antoine Clamaran, TJR, Wolfgang Gartner, Hatiras, and DJ Dan being amongst the many artists featured on the InStereo Recordings, the label is hard to ignore in the industry.

    Thunderous low end and pulsating rhythm embody the powerful music of A Hundred Drums.

    Stomping the stage in a tangle of hair and a blur of motion, her high-octane live show is the result of years of searching for that perfect primal pulse that connects humans on the dance floor. Since she was a teenager, Gabrielle Watson has been cultivating a sound that encapsulates experimental hip-hop, psychedelic bass, and indigenous hand drums. After a decade of crafting her sonic signature in cutting-edge spaces, A Hundred Drums has emerged onto the main stage to bring the sounds of the underground to the masses.

    N2N Woodkey Festival 2023

    Over the last eight years, N2N has become broadly recognized for his blistering marathon sets fueled by infectiously energetic house music. In 2018, he was mentioned by Billboard in its list of the nine best sets from Burning Man, and the year prior he had the opportunity to perform for a global audience in New York’s Mixmag Lab. A lifelong student of music, his sets seamlessly blending genres have become crowd favorites across the country.     Champagne Drip, the musical incarnation of Los Angeles based producer Samuel Pool, was born from the philosophy that innovation springs from inspiration. The statement ringing true throughout the years, Pool has proven himself to be a trailblazer within the bass music sector of electronic music. With seasoned expertise predominantly rooted in genres such as dubstep and jungle, his discography consists of countless renowned records, right alongside his multiple headline tours and appearances at some of the world's largest festivals.
